The Painter

We wanted the atmosphere at Rush Creek Distilling to be filled with one-of-a-kind features. To add to the experience at Rush Creek we found a great artist. Beth Turner, owner of Beth Turner Faux Finishes. Beth has been painting professionally and doing faux finishes for over 22 years. Beth has trained with leading painters all over the country. She can make ordinary extraordinary—and that’s what we wanted.

Faux finishes are a type of decorative painting that mimics other material such as marble, wood or stone. In some cases, it looks even better than original material and it is easier to repair over time. Our walls are true art.

Beth has painted some of our main walls with Venetian Plaster. Venetian plaster gives the walls a dimensional look resembling polished stone which you can see in the images below or just come see us at RCD. We’ve also commissioned Beth to do a large abstract painting on a feature wall as well as a faux finishing in our bathrooms. Stay tuned for more images.
