Rye Recipes
Stoney Creek Sipper
- 1.5 oz Rush Creek 58% Rye Whiskey
- 0.5 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
- Half a sprig of rosemary (remove leaves from sprig and throw into shaker)
- A little bit over ½ oz maple syrup
- Add all ingredients into a shaker. Shake and strain over rocks glass w/ ice.
- Garnish with a rosemary sprig and lemon slice
Beck’s Black-Eyed Rye
- 1.5 oz Rush Creek 58% Rye Whiskey
- .5 oz Lemon Juice
- .75 oz Blackberry Simple Syrup*
- Top with equal parts Ginger Beer and Soda (or just Soda for a lighter flavor)
- Garnish with fresh blackberries and a lemon slice
Reese 100 Rye Squeeze
- 2 oz Rush Creek 100% Rye Whiskey
- Half of an orange, juiced (1 oz)
- .75 oz Honey Simple Syrup
- 2 dashes bitters
- Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice, shake intensively. Pour shaker (ice included) into a rocks glass. Add a few extra cubes, if needed.
- **Fill your rocks glass with ice cubes and dump the ice cubes into the shaker to ensure you have the right amount of ice
- Garnish with a Cherry and Orange slice
Ginger Julep
- 1.5 oz Rush Creek 58% Rye Whiskey
- 1 oz lime juice (one whole lime, juiced)
- 1 oz Simple Syrup*
- 1.5 oz Ginger Beer
- Add Rush Creek 58% Rye Whiskey, lime juice, and Simple Syrup in a glass, fill halfway with ice and stir. Add Ginger Beer and fill remainder of glass with ice.
- Garnish with fresh mint.
Manhattan
- 2.5 oz Rush Creek 58% Rye Whiskey
- .25 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 1 Cherry, plus juice on the spoon
- Fill a rocks glass with ice, pour all ingredients into glass and add cherry. Never shaken.
